The Devil's Kneading Trough, Kent Downs

Made it to the Devil’s Kneading Trough, finally. Began this picture up there but the terrifically daft stop / start rain meant I finished this at my desk. Also, while atop gawking at the view and learning about chalk rock landforms, (the information states it is "like a bashed in hard boiled egg"), realised it features in Russell Hoban’s ‘Riddley Walker’, as MR CLEVVER’S ROALING PLACE. Now I want to visit more R.W. locations in the area!

Cherry Grove

I made a farewell drawing of the dying cherry tree in my garden, before me and my dad chopped it down.

Snowdrop Inn, Lewes

Found a very pretty pub on a sunny day in Lewes, Sussex. Discovered Burning Sky's 'Arise' they had an impressive crisp selection to boot.
